Just wanted to give an update on the tires. I decided to go with the AS3+. Minimal spin from a dig, barely chirps in second, no chirp going into third. These are what Chevy should have put on this vehicle to take full advantage of the launch control feature. Havent professionally timed it but Ive consistently pulled less than 4.5 to sixty with a 160lb passenger with a stopwatch These things grip.

Toyo Proxes Sport https://www.toyotires.com/tire/pattern/proxes-sport I highly recommend them. They are quiet and grip the road great in dry or wet conditions. However, they are very soft and wont last long. I drive my car hard in mountain passes and feel the grip is great.

I just replaced my stock size P Zero's with the just released replacement for the P Zero called the P Zero PZ4 and went one size wider - they stick like glue and are very quiet with a good ride

BFG G-Force Comp-2 A/S.
These high performance all season tires make me wonder what "summer tires" are good for, at least the ones from Pirelli. |

I prefer the Goodyear Eagle Sport All-Season. Great at the drag strip and on the road.

Rock-it-man how are the BFG holding up for you? Would you buy them again? I’m thinking about putting a set on my 2ss.

I just bought a 2012 ss that has p zero tires on it and I think those tires are great if you were into drifting. I can spin the tires almost any time I want. I would really like to get a nice set of all season tire that dig in some. My rear tires are a little thin anyway. Also hoping the new rear tires will help with the handling. Car seems to want to wonder. It’s a 2012 with 39,000 miles. Any help would be great.

They are looking good after about 20,000 miles and about 40 runs at the drags. They gave up nothing to "summer tires" in E.T. But most important, here in New England, is that they don't scare me on rainy 40 degree days. In those conditions, the P-Zeros were a complete failure.

+1 I got 30,000 out of the stock Pirellis and could have gotten more. I liked them, except that I had to be so careful on cold days. Last Fall, one blew out, so I replaced them all with the BFG G-Force Comp-2 A/S. I love them and think my next set will be 4 of the same Comp-2s.
