I'd go with the vette. More power at a great price.

With the vette you're getting SS power at the price of an LT. Plus vette's are sexy.

thats what im thinking and when i get the 2lt ima have to buy rims, paint the stripes, buy a nav for it, tints, etc.. with the vettes most of that is already done or not needed

Cameron arent you very young?? I would go with the V6 Camaro because you have to think about insurance. Insurance on a vette is going to put you way way higher than on a V6 Camaro. You have to think about that.

I'd go with the Vette. Also I believe the vette is usually cheaper to insure than say a Mustang GT or Camaro SS.

im 19 the insurance will be alot higher on the vette but im gonna be the co-driver since its not gonna be the main car i drive everyday its gonna be a couple times a week so i dont think the price will be alot higher. im just brainstorming now anyways once all the numbers get put into effect everything might change |

If this choice was between a 1SS or C6 vette I would take the 1SS, but since this is not the case I would go for the Vette.

Don't forget to take into account the total ownership cost: Parts, Maintenance, Fuel, etc.

Why don't you go with the SS?? Your 2LT with options is gonna run you to $30k so you mine as well get the 1SS.

I really like leather seats and considering the 2lt is basicly fully loaded v6 model is what i was shooting for. Its a really tough choice im looking at on 1 hand i really love the camaro and have wanted one since the concept but the dreded autotrader got me changing my mind a bit |

I would still go with the Camaro. Why? I HATE buying used sports cars...you have NO idea how they treated that car and it could have been driven into the ground.
If you can get more for less, there is always a trade-off. The camaro probably wont need any work done for...the next 5 years. The vette however, who knows. No warranty (though no warranty to void), no idea how it's been treated. I LOVE the peace of mind that comes with a new car. Guaranteed to not cost you an arm and a leg for at least 3 years. My $0.02.
