Installed the steam vent plumbing on the heads. I may have to change the routing when I get the supercharger, but for now it is done. Tubing is bent and flared the same way I did for the LSA engine. I did remove the paint where the o-ring rides on the head to minimize any chances of leakage.

Awesome progress. I’m continuing to enjoy this build. Love you attention to detail thru the whole thing.

So, off the engine build for a bit. As BottleTalk has guessed, I invested in a 430 Stroud parachute for running the Texas mile...

I also purchased a new one piece driveshaft, I chose Gulf Coast Driveshaft as they use a one piece adapter at each end of the Driveshaft from Sonnax (so there is not another adapter for an adapter). And this also means it has Spicer 1350 u-joints at both ends. The shaft is aluminum 3.5 inch dia. and 1/8 inch thick.
I will of course upgrade the mount bolts to ARP.

There is no way the rubber guibo's will hold up to the new engine...

Vicster do you have a link to the bolts you are going to use for the DS? I am assuming you are running a ZL1 rear? Thanks

PS Nice build.
