Stratman, 525 RWHP is 630 ish at the crank... I have the 570 LPE and it is awesome! Worth every penny! My vote would be the TVS2300 Magnacharger. Makes good power and is proven technology that is reliable. Lots of recommendations for this S/C from the top Tuners. This is probably the most widely used power adder to date on the 2010 Camaro's. |

posted in another thread by MTI racing:
"The biggest difference between the 1900 and 2300 is blower size. We have found through our testing here at MTI Racing that the 1900 at 7-8 psi is best for MOST applications because it requires less engine power to turn the supercharger. This allows for more horsepower to be applied with less engine strain. Creating more power at lower rpms, where it is safer and where most cars live while being driven. The 2300 is a good kit for a built up motor looking to make over 850 hp. So if you are looking to supercharge your relatively stock 6.2L the 1900 is your best application. Thanks for your posts everyone. www.mtiracing.com"

It takes a 2.9" pulley on my TVS2300 to make a "miserly" 672 hp at 8.5psi. That's a pretty small pulley and that's a long way from 850hp. I don't even think they make a drive pulley small enough for a TVS1900 to feed my LS3 at those same power levels. You'd have to overdrive the rear pulley set up and spin the snot out of the 1900 to even come close. I'd have to politely say that MTI's stance on the 1900 vs the 2300 is bunk. There's a pretty good reason the folks that make the Magnuson TVS blowers recommend the 2300 on LS3's. It fits and performs pretty darn well. I bet if you measured the power it took to turn a 2300 or 1900 at mild or no boost, the difference wouldn't be significant. As air flow requirements and power levels go up, the 1900's need not apply for the job. |

There are already so many great systems out their for the Camaro. The toughest part is choosing which one you want... So many choices. Whatever you choose, your rear tires will never be the same... |

Kenne Bell is looking really good... I would take a look at them first and then compare that kit to the others. I've got Kenne Bell in my Mustang and it pulls like a mother. I expect no less for the Camaro kit.

Now one who runs to 6500rpm barking tires every gear switch is gonna pop something sooner than later. Count on that! I personally think 600 to 650rwhp is all the stock internals can handle. Please chime in anyone who thinks otherwise. I am no expert by any means but this is my thinking on your question. |
