Anyone else going next weekend to Ely? I'm car 201 in the 110 mph rookie Touring Class driving my yellow 1LE

I dont get to go

, i need only 2 days a year to run what is without a doubt the most exciting thing i do.....my daughter is getting married that Sun. Sept. is also rapidly approaching and i wont get to drive then as well, im navigating for my son, were running the 110 class in his 2018 Honda, dont remember the model but it comes w/turbo. I told him he could drive my hot rod as thanks for all the navigating he does, so i dont get to drive til next year. Just got my new 6pt SCHROTH belts last week. Hope you have a great time, it really is a fun event. If you have any questions feel free to ask i have run this event now 11 times. I finally made it to the 150 class, and it is night and day from the 110 class, nothing like running full throttle in the middle of the desert in my JDP prepared hot rod!

I'm doing this one 'solo' and I can see a navigator to help with time would be a huge asset.
Maybe we'll see you there in the future!

You will definantly see me there, like i say im with my boy in Sept. and will be back at it in 2019

Running great, but missed the rest of the NASA season waiting on Maryland Speed to send me the Kooks off road pipes. Finally filed a dispute, got my money and bought directly from Kooks. Live and learn. Need to work on an upgrade for the IC system, as I'm using the stock GM parts from the ZL1, and don't see how a stock ZL1 keeps the intake temp deltas below 25 degrees from ambient. Anyhow, looking forward to driving this beast more than I have been.
