Ye I know that but they were something like just under 3 seconds difference in the times, take a lighter exhaust, CAI, and a Manuel shift what result would you have? and at that it would still be 30K cheeper.

Also take into account they tested the 2SS and not the lighter 1SS as well.

Eh, they put it up against a car I don't even consider to be in the same category. It was a short segment. Didn't really talk about anything on the interior on the Camaro, but went on and on about all the buttons in the AMG Merc. Major selling point seemed to be that 30K price difference.
I'm sorry but all Mercedes vehicles are just so boring looking. It's like the Porsche Panamera they had in another segment. Sure it's fast, but it's ugly as sin as well.

i would have liked to see them compare the e63 coupe over the sedan and added the 2011 GT... in the end, i don't think they exaggerated on how they felt about the Camaro.. it's still a good car, just GM could should be able to make the newer version of a car better than the older one... especially when they've had since 2004 to perfect it... i too wish they would have spent more time in it... usually when they don't give a car a long review, that means it'll come back later in the series for a second chance...

I disagree on that. That last gen was very boring but I think the new one looks sleek.

I find myself wondering if the Brit's wanted to compare "muscle cars" then why don't they? Oh wait that's because they don't have anything to compare.... They pull out another cookie cutter plane Jane "saloon" and don't have the balls to compare the Merc' to the CTS-V. Then there was the trash talk about us having to get our car from the Aussie's and how amazing the 'stang was the 60's and how Camaro wasn't. Hmmm guess they forgot about the Trans-America races of the late 60's, and maybe more embarrassing the 1973 "British Touring Car Championship" won by a CAMARO... Suddenly the new Dodge Challenger commercial is so fitting. Keep sipping your tea Jeremy..

I think it was a very favorable review. They compared it with a car out of it's class, but so what really. The Camaro did really well on the track.

Even though I try not to let other people's opinions effect mine... the things Jeremy said about the camaro just upset me.
But, on the other hand...Richard is just more like us and he loved it! See now I want the stig's opinion. I love the way the camaro looks flying around the track. I would love to drive around that track.
