Fastest times in NFS Pro Street...
Fastest drag time with 69 Camaro SS is 7.15 Without Nitrous. I hit a few walls but I wheelied 90% of the track. I will hit sub 7 seconds soon. I'm still saving up enough money to buy some extra concepts for drag/drift/speed challenge mode.
Anyone actually tune their own cars in game or real life? I'm trying to figure out how to set up the suspension/ratios/etc for grip driving as the concept can't take hairpins well. Everything else is great stock, but it doesn't want to turn very much in the hairpins. I trailbrake/trail throttle but it still doesn't like to stay on the road. It was during the challenge. I'm going to edit the top to show my numbers from today. I'm past the first showdown and running very low 8's with a 240. I'm gonna buy a second 5th gen to start keeping track of only 5th gen times for all modes.

I want to play it sooo bad, but the required specs are so ridiculously high, and I need a laptop for school, so any laptop that can play it are very, very far out of my price range. I mean 3 GHz for the processor? Ouch. I plan on buying a new laptop soon, but none of them even come close to that, and I can't afford a game system like the Xbox 360.

I'd love to, but it is either a new laptop or an Xbox 360. Tempting though...Maybe if the next tax return is good.

I bought the 360. I'm getting a computer soon. Check my thread about a budget computer.

I've had the game for less than 24 hours, but I'll be getting to the part where I unlock the Camaro Concept shortly... when I do, I'll set it up and let you know my specs... I've already got almost $200k saved up for buying cars

Thinking about it, I just might be able to get a 360. This summer my laptop was having tons of problems so I thought I would need to buy a new one. Luckily it was still under warranty (buying the extended warranty was one of the top 10 best shopping decisions I ever made) and by the end of the summers it was pretty much completely rebuilt, and for the past few months it has worked just fine, so I probably can hold off on buying a new laptop. Also, since I will soon be sharing an apartment with my fiancee, I won't exactly be able to mooch off of my male gaming roommates anymore. So I may just buy one.

I have a decked out 240 sx drag, just bought the 69 maro SS and first run ran my 7.15 over 7.88 in the 240. I have concept for grip, and g35 from showdown for drift (sucks...). I just got the supra for speed runs (which sucks about two races later). and I'm at around 75k after buying parts for 5th gen, ss and 240.

mindz if you want a lil boost and to save a little real cash you can unlock all the tier 4 parts (have to pay for them in game still) and unlock all the Collectors edition stuff with the code Unlockallthings

Yeah I know about the codes. I don't cheat until I beat the game once. Like in FF7, I beat it on my own, then used a guide to get all the sidequests, hidden items on the second playthrough.
