2008 Impala LS VS 2010 Camaro
My dealer called me a few days ago, and told me that I qualified for the GM loyalty Program. He stated that if I trade in my newly financed 2008 Impala, that I could keep the same payments on any car on the lot but I wonder if they will allow me to get a Camaro. Now just to decide what kind of Camaro to ask for and color? please help me with our opinions? thanks.

The loyalty programs clearly does not list the Camaro as eligible unless you're in Canada. He may be using that as an excuse to get you on the hook though and actually offer you a 1000 more than you might have gotten on any trade. Beware this one old and tired dealer trick....when they offer to keep the payment that you have, it's generally a very easy way for them to "play the numbers" to their advantage. They can give you the same payment, if you JUST ask for that, but they may be able to jack up the APR to do it w/o you even noticing. Be sure and ask them what's the best APR that you can get...I'll bet that the numbers won't be the same.
Just traded in an 08 Work truck and the finance rate we got was 1.3% better than when we bought it.

i went to my local dealer today and tried to see what happened if i traded in my 2008 impala with 6600 miles and they that a V6 Camaro would comeout to be 25k PLUS 10k to the traded in since it was on Fin. so the total i would have to pay for a V6 LS 2010 Camaro is 35k Plus Intrest.
