After watching the Vette's race last night, if you're over 600 RWHP I think you'll take him no problem. Be a good race. Make sure you let us know the results.

I love how people underestimate the vette in this scenario. I know what the vette can do, and am placing my bet on the vette.

Well it's going down tonight.

I got a run in with a turbo S PDK tuned and it obliterated me from a dig. But from a roll it was a totally different story.

There's an evo coming out "suppose" to be pushing 5-600awhp.
This cammed z06 which may not even be at 500rwhp tbh.

The guy setting it says he wants to bring the ZR1 because I did better against the PDK turbo than the ZR1 did.

Also a twin turbo M3 (older version) is coming out. Heard it is anywhere from 550rwhp on low boost to 750rwhp on high.

Should be a fun night and hopefully will have plenty of videos to go around!


(Vette is going to be race of the night I think. But from what others have told me who have seen both my car and his car in action - i shouldn't worry about a thing.)

I just so happened to race a bolt-on/cammed C6 Z06 this weekend in the exact same way as the OP has set up for tonight. We went from a 50 roll, I was in second, he let me take the hit, I pulled him as soon as I hit 3rd and we went to about 140mph and he let off. I was about 2 cars in front of him. I was driving solo, he had a co-pilot. My car makes 600 rwhp on dope and my bottle pressure was low when we started(around 850) and when we were done my bottle pressure was around 700 so i did lose some hp there but I still got em. I spun a little on take off when the nitrous hit and I wiggled a little bit going into 3rd.

Should be a good and close race if you dont spin too much. I am on 315 rear street tires, no drag radials.

Edit: Just noticed you're on stock A6 tranny. That will be a deal killer from a roll. But you still got a chance

teheehee. I paddle shift. Never use the actual auto. Gets boring.

But the car spins like crazy .. well into 80mph im spinning... Waiting on my 315s to arrive :( I'm on stock 21s 275s... lol. Car gets dangerous before 100mph.

I dunno.

I actually did better against the turbo S PDK than the ZR1 did and the driver of the ZR1 is a seasoned drag driver.

Hopefully I can pull the upset. If not i'll throw the 20s on!

How are you having such bad traction issues? My cars a M6 with nitto nt05's that are the stock size and I spin first but 2nd - 6th it dead hooks. And im running them at 35psi on the street in 65 degree weather with stock suspension im making 550 rwhp and 530 ft/lbs with an e-force supercharger. I do have a very good alignment on the rear of the car though maybe thats your issue?

Guess I dont see where you need 315 DR's for 550whp 530wtq. I can hook 265/40/18s M/T ET Streets in 35-40* weather on the street from a slow roll in 1st. MN12 close ratio gearing and 3.46 gears.

FWIW my H/C/I C5Z would flat out murder my GTO!

Streets here suck. We're talking about 3rd world shitty streets. Not american highways. I spin first completely, second and half of third.

Well guys.

We went on out and tried it.

z06 ended up NOT being a smalled cammed z06... ended up being a BIG CAM, PORTED HEAD, intake, tune, nitto z06. lol.... Yeah.

Went from 2nd rolls, top of 2nd, I spun out immediately and he would pull about 1-2 cars and I would hold the pull. He would gain absolutely nothing and I would slighty edge forward, but not enough to creep up. At about 140mph he started to slightly creep away as aerodynamics hurt my rectangular 4,000lbs box. Was fun. Think things would've been WAY different if I had some sticky tires.


Also ran against a pretty darn fast evo. I'm guessing 5-600awhp. From second he pulled me half a car, by mid third we were next to each other, and from 3rd top to end of 4th bye bye. Pulled about 2-3 cars. He ended up breaking his clutch trying to play. Fun night overall. Hopefully have videos sent to me tomorrow morning!

I dont understand how you have no control. I have yet to have any problems up to 120. Waiting on tuner now so thats all i got for now. Cant wait to top 150

Did I read correctly that your running 21" wheels? If so the solution is simple. Run a 20" wheel at the most with a good tire.
