And I do use foam pads for polishing, so I did use my new lake city white polishing pad.

Edit: my lake city cutting pad I was using was the orange one. I believe there is a more aggressive pad than that one.
Sorry about that, I just looked at the pictures. My bad. Car looks great

It's a extremely long and tedious process. Are you slightly OCD with a very good amount of patience lol?

Many people can polish their car back to 70-80% perfection but the last 20-30%, especially on black, will be elusive with a PC machine. Also if you haven't ever polished a car before the camaro is a hell of a car to start on lol. Many spots would deserve a 3in polisher and will cause you to dust like crazy with a standard size PC. The center of the hood is difficult to get correct pressure and the center Mohawk is also not easy. Not saying all of this to scare you, but you do need to know what you are getting into as well as the amount of time and effort and money it will take to do it appropriately might not be propritionate to you taking it to a GOOD detailer near you.

Admittedly our clearcoat isn't terribly hard to make look good so that's one thing you wouldn't have to be terribly concerned with .
