Question Driveshaft tunnel brace

Hi guys

I have a little problem with my car. My American Racing long tube headers is touching the stock black Driveshaft tunnel brace and is making noise when you drive.
I need a new driveshaft tunnel brace in order to have more space between this and the long tube headers. Do you have some ideas ?

I'm living in Italy, a lot of wesite does't ship to me or the cost is like 150 (only shipping)
I saw this:
https://www.carid.com/umi-performanc...pn-2500-r.html

Is gonna work fine??
If you have different ideas let me know !
Thanks

The one from BMR is only $59.95US. I'm looking at one, but I don't know if it'll give me extra clearance or not. Mine was rubbing, but we were able to tighten it and adjust the way it hung and now it doesn't rub anymore. I still occasionally hear it clang off the brace when going over bumps, but I looked the other day and it's still not in contact when parked.

Thanks for the answer.
I saw the BMR. The problem is i didn't find any company that offer international shipping at reasonable price.
I found only two websites and the price is 150for shipping + 60for BMR...
I Was looking to carid because the shipping cost is 55

Since it is to stiffen the area you could remove the tunnel brace and modify it for cheap at a welders shop to not touch...no shipping required or fashion a new one , I see you have spaced it out with multiple washers......

Unless you are racing the car, an easy fix is to obtain four Grade 8 bolts that are a 1/4 inch longer and add a 1/4 inch spacer between the cross brace and the unibody. That will solve your noise problem.

Thanks for answers
Does it work by adding spacers only?
Will I have future problems with this solution?

EDIT: What happens if i remove the stock black brace and I put nothing down?

Ok I wasn't for sure exactly what you were talking about. Like stated above go buy a couple longer bolts and put some spacers in problem solved OR..........if you're in the market to spend some money look into a hotckis subframe brace setup that would really make a difference if you race your car.

I'd try the BMR Brace and see if you have the same issue. It can be found for $45-50 US if you look hard enough. If it still rubs, look into spacing it one washer at a time until you get the clearance you need.

The stock tunnel brace is trash, so thats why I recommend going with the BMR and modifying that to work if needed.

I'd try to space it first. I ended up picking up a BMR one from Summit and fixed the issue.
