by the look of the trees (no leaves) it was filmed a few months ago so it is not an official GM car.

possibly the only import they could get hold of ?

The GM cars at Goodwood were manual

He said that the AMG would do 186, "almost 40 more than the Camaro will do"... Ummm that's not accurate. And he says the Camaro costs 40k pounds. That's $60k...

Seems strange that they would review the auto. They always seem to go for the manuals. Although the SRT8 Challenger Hammond drove was an auto as well. Regardless of the fe yew they give the car I love that show. Easily one of the best shows on TV. I've been watching all 15 previous seasons posted on www.finalgear.com

That may very well be what GM is selling it for in Europe. I wouldn't doubt it.

The Camaro went around the track in 1:27.9 seconds... put it right behind the 911 GT3 (1:27.2)....

I won't give away any of the review... it was interesting though... wish Hammond would have spend more time in the Camaro.

I just watched it and they really didn't spend the normal amount of time as they usually do talking about or reviewing the car. I am disappointed in that they didn't do more with it. They spent more time talking about the other car which was an unfair comparison costing twice as much.Spend a couple thousand more and the Camaro would blow away it's competition. I''m still a fan of Top Gear however they should have done a proper review as I've seen them do before with the Dodge Challenger SRT8.

and the side by side race thing was a joke, they were pretty much even most of the race and they put the camaro way at the bottom of there standings. give us 30K price difference and a couple performance mods, a manuel vs manuel trannies and you have a much different outcome IMO. not even close to being a fair comparison. Two vehicles are two totally different breds.

I love the show but they should of compared it to a similar priced car. And I hate how he was bashing on the car at the end. What do you expect when the other car costs almost twice as much.

The side by side thing isn't to compare them while being timed.
They just used the shots from each car going through the same parts of the track to show how they both react and handle around those segments.
