Everyone;

Didn't go into the "mail slot" because #1 I kinda like these and #2 you would have to clear the entire front cover $$$$$$$ Lots of work to do that right.

The painted stripes look great, but IMHO if I was going to take the time, money, and effort to paint, I would do something truly custom and original. AGAIN, the car looks GREAT, but template+paint+over the spoiler does not = custom.

I was really thinking about dropping the stripes and changing my order to IOM because I was so upset about the GM stripes but now I might just have to see if someone around here can do this!!

Out of fairness to your dealer, that looks like one hell of a good job! That's what this car's all about - getting your car the way you want! Incredible paint work on their part - gets MY

Any paint and body shop can do this since its pretty simple, even the ones at the dealerships. But if you want the best "bang for your buck" I would take it to a reputable paint shop in your area and for just a little more you can pick your own colors and get some airbrushing inside the stripes. Ghost flames, skulls, pearls, metallics, ect... And you could also help mix your own color and make it truly part of who you are.

Your right, any reputable shop can do this, but I had these guys do it because this guy worked at the dealership and he did warranty work on 69 Z's so he is very skilled and experienced. It took a couple of days to get the rear ones just right (tape on , tape off, tape back on etc.) So it might look simple, but believe me is was work.

Wow that looks great.
They did a great job.

Just a suggestion, you should edit the first post and say they were painted on.

These glossy stripes look AWESOME!!! And here I was just starting to get used to the idea of the flat black ones. Wish it wasn't too late to change my order and save $470 but oh well, hopefully that means my car will be here soon.
