BMR 2 point Strut Brace 2010 Camaro SS - Clearance Issues

I purcahsed the BMR 2 point Strut Brace and had issues lining it up properly. I had everything ready to go to begin drilling the mounting holes in the top of the strut tower. The brace was hitting the ABS lines and would not line up properly. Has anyone had this issue before? How about bending the brake line to get the necessary clearnace. I'm dissapointed that it does not state this as a possible issue when purchasing the item. I can't be the only one with this problem? Any help would be appreciated. Thanks!!

BMR

I had the same issue with the 4 point brace. Minor clearance issue with the ABS lines and it did not sit flat accross the top of the shock towers. The hood strut even had to be adjusted so that it did not come into contact with the front brace on the passenger side. I ended up making it all work/fit since I had the car in the air with the front suspension dropped. BMR said to return it but at that point I was past the point of no return. It would have been more of a pain to ship it back from Canada and wait for the replacement.
When I contacted the vendor and BMR they said it was the first such issue brought to their attention.

TAPSHIFT.....thanks for the reply. I knew I was not the only one that had issues. I had my car up on jack stands with the front struts dropped as well. I stopped the install and put everything back. I got my BMR 2 point brace through Thunder Racing's web site. I have called them and left a message explaining the issues and sent two different e-mails explainign the issues. I am still awaiting a response from them. I like the product......if it fit.

If it's a STB013, I'll buy it from you if you can't make it work.

Yes, it is STB013 in black powdercoat. I'm still deciding if I am going to "make it work" or try and sell it.
