Finally stopped raining long enough to get a picture of the project in daylight. We broke rainfall records in March by over a half inch. I'm liking the silver grill, not sure whether or not to reshoot the bezels in the same blue as headlights and bowtie.

I installed a Hurst Billet Plus Short Throw shifter this weekend, thank you Autoagenda! Love the feel of the new short shift and the old school T-handle is just the right touch.

heh - that last picture also shows the vinyl on the ignition. Cheapest mod ever. I didn't want to scratch it all up so I cut a circle of blue vinyl to protect it.

Thanks, there's another guy on the forum who painted his white - I got the idea from him. It seemed right with the blue/white halo's.

Long ago, for quite a while, I used to get down to Spokane at least once a year as pit crew for a friend at the dragstrip. Like, 20 or 25 years ago when it was an AHRA nationals event. Good times!

Thanks for the kind compliments! I finally got around to popping off the center caps and painting the bowties. I had to remove the vinyl first, clean it good, tape the bowtie off, and paint. I like how it looks much better than the vinyl.
I also polished and waxed the wheels, and detailed out the wheel wells.
One of these days I'll be painting those brake calipers.... one more mod and I'm through.
