Happy wife, Happy life. Why even think twice about it? 1LE and a Stingray don't compare. Life is too damn short.

She was happy with whatever I did. I was the decider on not pulling the trigger on the C7. She suggested I get the Stingray. LOL. She was even going to help pay for it. She did spring for some Turbo $$. She got off easy I think, but heck, I'll keep her.

We have a C5Z06 as a weekend car and 2013 SS as daily driver. The Camaro is a fun car to drive however does in no way compare to the Corvette. If you are wanting a fun fast car that puts a smile on your face every time you drive it get the Vette. And the C7 is one amazing car in all areas.

I am also looking at adding a C6Z06 to the mix however waiting until late this year. I think once there is a lot of C7,s on the road it will start dropping the pricing on the C6Z cars. I am hoping by the end of this year they will be in the low 30K range for a nice low mileage one.

The C6 Z06 is a very "special" car.

I asked my tuner to keep the HP as low as possible. Starting Mods at 422 Dynojet HP: LTs, CAI, Scoop, Cats, no tune. TTs @ only 5 pounds of boost! They kick in at 2,750 RPM. TTs and injectors are the only engine mods now, otherwise back to stock. The car is a blast! But I had to come home and put the drag radials on. Before the Goodyears warm up the power easily overwhelms the traction contol. With the DRs on problem solved. Once the stock tires wear out, I think I will go with a ZL1 size rear tire.

you want to retire in a corvette or camaro?
I'm giving the G5 to my son and I'm driving off into the sunset in my C6. |
