Especially when you factor in the cost of the brackets!

I know that the Camaro Recaros are power and heated. I was talking about the Mustang Recaros. A comment was made about the Camaro Recaros being more expensive than the ones in the GT500. That's why I asked if the GT500 Recaros were power and heated. That question was directed at the GT500 owner which is why he was quoted in my post.

Reading....it can sometimes help fight confusion.

Bought my 2010 2ss fully loaded w/ L-99 sunroof, "smelly" leather (which I happen to like) Everything for 39000 and change. Worth every penny. ( I have added about 10,000.00 worth of aftermarket since then) At the time could not find a 3 year old vette cheaper.

Still kinda shocks me that they offer Inferno Orange Interior, but no IOM paint in 2014. That interior does look good in other color cars though.

The Hurst shifter was discontinued and replaced with the GM short throw shifter from the ZL1/1LE.

good question?
also,
Am I understanding correctly that there will be 3 V8 options
1-a standard LS3 / L99
2-a 7.0L for the Z-28
3-a supercharged LS3 for the ZL1
?

When negotiating a price, should you be looking to pay say $500 over the dealer's invoice price or the dealers price?

Do you mean supercharged LSA for the ZL1?

IMO, anything below dealer invoice is a good deal.

What is the real dealer invoice though?

I hear the real invoice does not include freight and advertising fees and then I hear the real invoice does include those.

Which is the right invoice? Those make a big difference.

Nope the '13-'14 GT500 Recaro seats are manual and not heated/cooled which for $400 more in the Camaro is a pretty good deal.
Although the stock '14 GT500 seats are heated & powered, but they're not Recaros :(.

While I liked my 2010 1SS seats very much, I would have gotten these if they were available.

It doesn't matter because the dealer is only making the holdback on the car as profit. Holdback isn't a lot on a Camaro so the dealers aren't getting rich selling Camaros at invoice. I know everyone wants a good deal but dealers have to make profit or they can't stay in business.

What you want is something that's fair for you and fair for the dealer. Anything under invoice is fair to both.
