L99 A6 Dyno Results (ARH, Roto-Fab CAI,Borla, Tune)

Had car put on a dyno today and got pretty good results. 510 miles on car, installed CAI, ARH LT, Borla s-type, & tune. Tune removed AFM and adjusted TM and car drives like a whole different animal.......

Is the red a baseline stock pull and the blue the final pull? There should be a much greater gain for all of that. I know the heat is affecting both pulls, but you should have gained 50+HP not 20. Am I reading this wrong?

Sounds like a nice package! Everybody likes to see better dyno numbers with mods and I'm glad you did. But your statement is important-"drives like a whole different animal". That's what its really all about!

I dunno man. Every time I see a new dyno I start to feel jipped by getting the l99. So about $2300 in work to get stock ls3 hp? Thats upsetting. I know it loses more power through the auto trans, but come on.

Looks like just 2 pulls back to back. The lower one is in the 240s which wouldn't be stock. Also is this SAE or STD?

Also did you keep the resonator in the catback system or did ARH remove that? Any affect on Gas mileage?

Edit: nevermind I just saw post 3 that one run was before and one after tune

TM = Torque Managment (adjusts how the tranny shifts) will chirp the tires in 2nd and 3rd with this adjustment.

So those are pre-tune vs. post tune. That makes sense, it is hard to tell how good the numbers are since they were pulled in such bad air. I'd like to see how much power the car makes with corrected numbers.

In response to paying for LS3 power...these numbers are much higher than they seem. The heat really hurts dyno pulls, we need to see corrected numbers for a better comparison before we jump to conclusions.

Dont feel Jipped. When you get the tune along with these mods your car will peform for sure trust me. Just because its below the Manual Car in power doesnt mean it wont be as fast or be left behind.
Automatics wont miss a shift.
Not many drivers out there can out shift todays modern automatics I dont care how good you are at driving. An automatic knows when to shift and how long to hold until its shifts. First Gear in this automatic is a 4.03.
If you want from light to light or light to finish the automatic is going to be a real winner after some miles has gone into the engine and its gets broken in.
Understand this guys said there is only 520miles on the car....its a BABY still she hasnt even opened her eyes. Give it about 5,000 miles and she will be potty trained.
The A6 is no Slushbox like the A4 was from the factory and with a Tune its a monster.
A motor tune is going to help but a Tranny tune will be day and night !
The only thing I would add to the guys car who made this thread would be a New Stall/torque converter. You can get a very sreetable stall and put that power to the pavement.
