Sept of 2016, I traded my CTS-V wagon and 11k for my 2015 with 97 miles on it. 800 miles on it now. I gotta drive this thing more!

Did you buy it from Austin Tx perchance ? I was first person to talk to the salesman the morning they put up the ad..told them I would take it and would call them by noon with payment details..guy said "sounds good, no problem" When I called back a couple hours later they gave me the runaround..I talked to 3 people on 3 separate calls until finally I got thru to the man who was obviously avoiding me.. Needless to say, he sold it out from under me. The mgr called the next day to offer his apologies but that didn't do me much good.. Actually ended up using that price of $42k to negotiate another Z and paid $43k for a white one w 1300 miles that actually worked out well. Was $5k less than any other car ( besides the Austin one) with similar miles at the time..about a year ago. Anywho just thought i'd ask..always wondered who got it..

It was the black diamond edition. It was at the New York car show and sold new to a hockey player. If it was a stick, it would still be in my garage! It was an awesome car.

So no one paid full sticker??? I find that interesting...you either all bought used, are lying or afraid to say...lol...
I'll say it...I paid full sticker minus whatever discounts they "could" apply. Yep it was over 70K with TTR...and I really don't care. I would never say that about any other vehicle I have purchases ever. But the Z...they could have had the sticker at 90K and I would have bought it. Hands down the only car I ever really...really wanted and had to have (waited 1 year 11 months and 13 days for it to come in). I happily handed over the Gas Guzzler Tax with a smile oh so big...there are only 2 taxes I enjoy paying...the Guzzler and NFA Tax Stamps... Am I worried about the value? Absolutely not!!! As I have said before on this forum...that is my beneficiaries problem... |

2015 Z/28 Black with A/C, Stereo, 200 original miles, I Bought it Oct. 2016 for $45K and change from an out of state dealer in Tenn., I was the first owner on the title. I believe that was about the bottom of the initial pricing dip. Since that time, the prices have crept up. I have almost 10K miles now.

I love the gas guzzler tax. I pay it with pride. I would like a T-Shirt and badge to go with it. I wish I could get an engine that needed a gas guzzler tax in a Sierra or Silverado.

I paid 57K with 2900 miles about a year ago with AC/radio and it also has 001 of 2015 HPE650 Package from Hennessy. I sold my 06 evo for 23k, so out the door i paid 35K. I havent had a chance to run it at a track yet, but i am signed up for one in August.
