Those things hanging down would be the supplemental brake cooling pieces that have generated a bit of talk lately, right?

That's correct. The scoops themselves can be put on without removing anything, but the smaller metal shield rests between the rotor and the steering knuckle, so the rotor still has to come off to do it right. Took about 20 minutes a side once I figured the process out.

that 6th gen is a great car stock. i got the chance to run with one this year and they are fast right off the showroom floor. the lighter weight and few more HP made em wake the heck up.
not to change the subject and make everyone jump on me but i ran with a huge bunch of those new GT 350Rs this past weekend and they are brutally fast also. they gave me all i could handle at my home track. ill post a video in a day or two.
oh, those road america pics are badass!!!

Thanks . . . I just might have to look a little more into this and maybe work something up to more directly cool the calipers.

My car looked very similar to yours brake dust wise after a track day I participated in at Blackhawk Farms. I was running Hawk DTC70's front and DTC60's rear. Had a nice outline of my car numbers from brake dust on the side like yours too! You know you had a fun day when you can take your numbers off and still read the number!!
