Is there a thread for DIY float tie or flow tie, what ever it's called.
That's what I said.
It was in the trunk upon delivery....

Would a razor / box cutter work for this? I might try it tonight, I like how it looks as well.

Took me about an hour and a half with a very sharp knife. The grille is still very sturdy and supported, no issues there. More airflow is definitely a good thing.

Driving around town, 62 degrees out, my water temp gauge didnt get past the 1/3 mark after 30 minutes of driving. Is that the typical range for the water temp or is it usually in the middle?
How did you do this? I want to do this on my zl1 asap.

ZL1-V, where did you get your trim Carbon fibered like that??? I LOVE IT! And do you mind sharing how it's done and how much it costs?

Also, OP, I too bought my car used with the front license plate bracket (Ugh, and ugly), I just installed the bumper plugs and they're WAY better than the 4 empty holes which are WAY better than the bracket being there. I'm going to run this until I do a full fill and paint.

I like the way this looks. I just hate that it would be irreversible.

Not a fan of the cutout, unless it's a full blackout...I have the polished rims so the badge compliments the rims...If I ever get black rims, I'll blackout the entire car...And I doubt there is any performance gain from the cutout or the plate removal...

I never liked the huge gold bow tie on the front, so I cut out the gold part of the bow tie and wrapped the chrome part just for something different.

The CF kit is available here.

Not faux carbon fiber wrap, but the real material. Not cheap but great fit and finish. Good luck with your project.
