Michelin PS4's hands down. Love them (and this is coming from a guy who loved the g2's).

Keep the stock sizes though because handling is what this car is all about (305's will make it feel it a bit sloppy).

The G2s are pretty great tires. I put 15k on a set. They definitely work best warmed up.

I took advantage of a ridiculously low price for the Michelin PS4 or I probably would have bought another set of G2.

The PS4 are great on the street, more grip when cold. No complaints at all. I will be getting back to the track this year after a 4 year hiatus. I don't intend to run the PS4's there. They'd probably do fine at a reasonable pace, but I'd rather preserve them for street use, and once I get my track legs back I don't intend to take it easy I tend to overdrive tires a bit (will be working on not doing that, but it will happen as I try to unlearn that habit) - and I don't think the PS4s will do well with that, especially on a heavy car in the heat of Texas.

What are you planning on getting for the track?

Undecided.

G2s maybe since I know them well with this car and they are cheap, and work pretty well, have good manners when overheated etc.
Nitto NT01R (I know this tire well from other cars)
Toyo R888R's - I dunno, I hear mixed things about the 8's not working well with a heavy car, but I think that was with the previous 888. Maybe not worth the risk for the unknown.
Cup 2

Most likely the G2 or NT01R. Two tires I know and enjoy.

Have you looked at the Michelin PS4's?

I'm trying to decide between the G2's, NT01R's and PS4's. I think the NT01R's would be the best. I think it might be a toss up between the G2's and PS4's with a slight lean to the PS4's.

Price wise the G2's are lowest.

Hard to decide.

I have PS4's on the car now. Great street tire, but my list above was my consideration for the track.

Thanks, good to know. I'm looking for track tires as well.
