I can speak for the excellent fit and finish of the MPD1 cowl induction hood. Looks badass and functional cowl induction for a CAI brand cold air kit.

I have purchased many Harwood hoods in the past and they have been very good quality but on my 2010 Twin Turbo Camaro, I looked around and MPD seemed to have some very good products. After speaking with Eric, I decided to get the COPA hood for my 5th Gen. Upon receiving it, I was very impressed with the quality, strength and especially the exceptional Gelcoat finish. I mean, this thing didn't need hardly any prep work at all!! The Harwood hoods needed much more. I am completely satisfied with this purchase and if ever, I need another hood, it will be MPD!! A beautiful piece with perfect fit. The quality is superb!! And the underside is AWESOME!! As good as the topside!

Well made my choice and bought an MPD cowl hood, going down tomorrow to have Eric put it on for me, would have done it today, but the weather and storms were bad enough to keep me home, it is a 1.5 hour drive, I decided to not go the Harwood due to the issues my body shop guy had with one he painted and installed on a local 5th gen. The hood outside was full of what he called "pin holes" and he had to do almost 2 days worth of prep work to get it smooth enough to prime and paint. Then when he went to install it I was there for that and man what an issue that was, the hood would not line up very well from side to side, then he ran into the issue that it was off from front to back, took quite a while to get it even close to lining up, plus the height was off quite a bit. I saw the car yesterday at a local store and checked it out, an I am glad I didn't get one, the fit was horrible, but the hood looked good on the car none the less..Plus I know Eric's work is great, so I got his..Good luck guys and gals.

Well I went down to Eric's shop, MPD on Sunday to pick up my hood and have him install it with me, and man what a great hood this is!! Bolted right up and with just a little bit of tweeking we had the hood fitted perfectly on the car! The gaps all the way around the hood are perfect, even better than the stocker I had on there! lol. I will get some pics hopefully soon to post so you can see, but let me tell you I have seen many aftermarket hoods on some of our club members cars and this one by far, fits the best, righ out of the box!!! Nice job Eric! Thanks

We spent about 1 hour on the install. Sanded the edge along the right front a little and adjusted the hood latch ever so slightly and it was spot on! You can drop the hood from 12 inches up and it latches like a dream

Yessir !!Thanks Eric, you beat me to it, everyone just loves the hood !! Said it is by far the best looking cowl they have seen for a while ! My paint guy couldn't even believe how nice it looked. When I pulled in and asked them for an estimate on painting it, they thought it was already painted and I told them, no it wasn't, and they still couldn't believe that is wasn't, nice job ! Many people said they liked the black hood, but it is too much for me, so it is going to be color matched to the car on Dec 26th. Can't wait. Thanks again Eric for a superb item, and your great attention to detail and customer service. Much appreciated.
