I had a 04 GTO a4 car. Had it been a manual trans, I would have kept it. I actually tried to trade the Camaro in for some 05/06 GTO's but couldn't make it happen... I prefer the GTO as I think it's much more comfortable (especially for a bigger guy), and you can get people comfortably in the back seat, and they have much better interior.

I had a 06 GTO and lets just say I dont want to get into gory details.

I bought it new with 6 miles on it and have to say " IT WAS THE WORSE SPORTS CAR I COULD BUY!"....

Nothing but troubles from the start. I had it for 3 1/2 years and out of those it was at the dealer more than I was driving it. Issue upon issues.

I wont talk bad about the speed of the car but only how poorly it was made. Plus I got tired of people calling it a cavilier or Grand am.

I agree.

I was at the Gulfport Dragway a couple of weeks ago. We saw a car at the line and said what kind of ricer crap is that. It ran quite fast so I took a stroll to see the car. Damn it was a GTO. Sorry but they missed the boat on the design.

It looks like every other Pontiac (Grand Prix/Grand Am). How the hell is that "ricer"?

I test drove the GTO and was impressed..it was a great looking car as well, too bad it went three years and out. Price was too high, I said it from day 1...34k for a Pontiac coupe with no nav/heated seats or anything else like that, too much. For 26-28k they would have sold a ton of them.
