I've been thinking of doing this down the road. After awile you can just take it off right, or is it no turning back? Your car sits really high and would look better dropped especially with that sick matte black look. I really think it looks great!

WHATSOEVER!!!!

95% cuts are done in gaps then edge wrapped / folded.

When you have no choice but to cut, I use a fresh scalpal blade and lightly score the vinyl.
Any wrapper who is quality will have perfected this.

To pefect this technique, you put a piece of vinyl on acrylic and score peel back and check for scratches. I have done this over 3000 times over 10 years over achive a perfect result. $2000 is a good price if they are great at what they do.
In theory, done 100% carefully with lots of practice like you have, maybe your right to an extent. But everyone, including experienced people, make errors now and then and go a bit deep. And even in the body gaps you are still cutting the car. I would not do it on a car I am not advertising on. And I bet you the odds of getting cuts are probably 50/50 at best. There are a lot of newbies and people that do not care. You need to be realistic. You even said yourself, $2000 is a good price, maybe too good. The fact that the job came out looking great tells NOTHING of wether or not you have cuts. I am also in the business by the way, and I have hired many bad installers to do fleet wraps. You do not know until mistakes are made. On a huge truck, who cares, but on a Camaro.......no thanks! Just my 2 cents!

Looks well done! Good pics.

I'm not personally sold on matte black, though. In my day (I'll be 30 soon), flat black was never cool--that was the color of primered bumpers and ground effects kit on low-budget "ricers" in our high school parking lot. Now, if you could get a flat, metallic blue.....I'd pay $2k for that!

$2K for a full wrap is too cheap IMO.

my local guy who did my Clearshield told me he won't wrap a car for under $5K. I know that might sound too expensive for some people but he is the best. he mainly does work for the local Ferrari/Maserati dealership so you know he knows his stuff.

they don't let just any Joe Shmoe wrap a $150K car. lol
