Merry Christmas to The House. And in the spirit and of The House, Merry Christmas to those away from home, away from family, away from friends defending our freedom. Love you all!

Finally got to see a sixth gen in person today when I went to a local Chevy dealer to pick up one of the fire department's Tahoes that we being serviced. Pictures don't do it service. It still looks similar to the fifth gen but the biggest thing that stuck out to me that made me fall in love with the car was the rear hips. More curvy than the fifth gen. Also the SS rear spoiler looks much better in person. Hyper Blue is the color for me if I'm ever able to be blessed with a sixth gen, just spectacular in person. Sticker shock was there as well when I saw a $40K 2LT/RS. It was very nice though.

Oh yeah, and I got engaged on Christmas Eve! Not messing around with the engagement, should be married by the end of March.

I was looking at an ATS-V coupe yesterday. Nice car except for on major problem. With a sunroof my head actually is hitting the roof. And I'd have to recline so far back to not hit that I'd be in a poor driving position.

But the visibility is far better than the Gen6 Camaro. Even with the high rear spoiler.

The other problem is simply that sitting in a sedan, I feel like I'm in Mrs. Number 3's ATS. Nothing really special so it's simply the engine and chassis that you are paying an extra $15,000 for.

But GM apparently did the same thing they did with the CTS coupe, drop the roof for styling. So I can't consider that unless the sunroof goes. So just slightly worse than the Gen6 which also has very limited head room with the sunroof.

But to be clear, I have a tall seated height. Most people won't have this issue so I'm just whining in The House.

Oh, and Happy New Year everyone!!!
