I use Mobil 1 full synth with the Delco filter. Put a catch can on it right after I bought it. The intake manifold is clean as a whistle.

My engine performs at the top of its game using Mobile-1 extended. I've used regular mobile-1 a few times and it ran a little bit sluggish compared to the extended version. Put extended back in and zoom! Felt like the difference between regular and premium gas.
