USB Ports not working

Has anyone had any issues with the two USB ports in the center armrest not working? Cannot get a thumb drive or my IPhone working with CarPlay when I plug in.

Check the cable you're using when connecting the iPhone. I had some issues and it turned out the cable wasn't sufficient.

Every once in a while I get a "media not found" error. I unplug my USB and wait a minute, then plug it back in, maybe I switch which plug. That usually does it.

I have that issue sometimes too. It also happens in my Stingray. I've always chalked it up to MyLink issues.

Try this type of USB devise: SanDisk

A couple guys here recommended it. I suspect it is the Silver Bullet.

I've ordered a couple.

I have this issue. The dealer installed my spectrum lighting kit incorrectly and my car is full of little wiring bugs. Working on getting it sorted out in July.

I use these in 32Gb, never had an issue.

Thanks for advise. Just disconnect the negative cable for about 15 minutes and it reset itself. USB working again. Easy fix.

It even does it with my iPhone though. CarPlay shows up on the screen and when you touch it, it doesn't open. It's weird.

I get this too. In my case, it's usually another Lightning cable going bad. They're extremely sensitive to flexing and twisting, and as I still haven't found a satisfactory mount for my 6s plus, the phone usually slides around on the passenger seat while I drive. The lifespan for a cable in my house is probably about 4 months.
