My Aesthetic review of the ZL1..

1) Good job on the black rocker panels - makes the side look slimmer, not the fat pig like the SS/V6 from some angles.
2) 4 exhaust tips look great - really differentiates this as the top dog Camaro
3) front looks good too - can really tell that this is different from the lesser Camaros
4) rear spoiler - at least now it can be seen rather than the pathetic non-functional "spoiler" on the SS which can be described as "cosmetic" at best - if it can even be seen!
5) seats - look great
6) dash - meh. It's better, but I don't like the layout
7) shifter knob - LOL!! A big joke. Covering the dysfunctional original knob with some suede does not equal a fix.
8) steering wheel - I like the flat bottom shape, but I don't like the middle part shape - looks like they married a sports wheel with something out of a Dodge Neon.
9) rims - look boring
10) tires - look great!
11) front lights - awesome! halos are blue like they should always have been, and with four cool lights below the headlights - super cool.

Well done Chevrolet.

The shift knob is straight out of the CTS-V not the SS

Agree with most of what you said. I like the rims though. Look closely at them. There is a lot of detail there. Very hi tech. And less than 30 lbs.

The steering wheel's only flaw is the bowtie. Should have said 'Camaro" or "ZL1".

The shifter is tits.

Boy you really hate the SS styling, don't you?

As others have said, this is not the same shifter. Look closer.

I'm confused....black tires (all tires on 99.9% of cars are the same color) look great....but forged aluminum wheels with more detail than I've seen on any factory wheel ever...look boring?

They are white like all other Camaros. They've used special photography techniques to capture a blue frequency coming out of the LED halo rings...or else they photoshoped them for effect. Either way, if you look at "in the wild" pictures from the show, they are still white.

This car is the real deal. I am sure by release they will make a few more alterations. They have said as much! Have Faith!

I think the wheels are incredible, actually my favorite part of the appearance of the ZL1.
