Big question?

So then the question that I'm facing is what to do with my 2010 2ss RS Camaro, seeing as all these options and upgrades are coming on the newer models. I was always under the
Inset that the 2010s were going to be a collectible year. But now I'm not sure what's your guys thoughts?

I agree too. I think there may be some collectabilty of the 2010 Model. Personally I'm going to finish paying my 2011 off and then save for a ZL1.

Is the 67 more collectible than the 69? The 70, the 82, the 93?

In my opinion, the 2012's will be the collectible year, that's the 45th Anniversary year.

Provided you own a 45th anniversary edition. I think the earlier your car was manufactured, the more collectability it will have. But if you have any mods that will probably make it less desirable. Honestly the only people who are going to care about what year it was are the hardcore collectors.

No collectability for any 5th gens other than maybe the 2012 ZL1. As was mentioned before, the '82 and '93 Camaros aren't worth much. This isn't the late '60's all over again. I can't see any reason a 2010 would ever be worth more than a 2011 or 2012 or 2013.

This.

My friend has a 97 Trans am that is 1 of 34 (color) and it's not worth anymore than a common 97.

I don't know about the collectible aspect, but I just traded my 10 2SS for a 45th Anniversary edition. It seems like a better car. It handles better, shifts better, more ergonomically friendly. I miss my 10, but love my 12.

Collectible? Not much collectibility for next 30-40 years for any of the regular models, just too many of them where made. ZL1 and certainly copo would probably be worth discussing.

I'm leaning towards this as well, not the collectability part, but paying off my 2010 and saving for a ZL1, or even just waiting for a 6th gen.

Had the 2013 blue been a bright blue, then it would have been a different story.

Only 2010 Camaro owners can say I have the 1st GEN 5 Camaro after 7 years. The GEN 5 Camaro is the best Camaro ever not latter gadgets, there are many 1st's with the 2010 Camaro, for one its the Camaro that started outselling the Mustang.

The key is the Gen5 is based on the 69 camaro the most collectable. So is the rs/ss more collectable then the Z28 or the ss. you decide
