ACS upper rear quarter vents
When i first saw them on the new stingray i loved them
 ACS made them and i said time to break out the air saws, files and die grinders Pretty straight forward, lay the template, cut a hole and install vent  . ok, ok its a little more than that but I'm happy with the out come  . i first set in the passenger side and the rear of the vent was not sitting completly flush, i have to remove it, clean it and reinstall  , but the 2nd time was a charm:headband:, the driver side didn't sit as flush in the rear so i had to file off a little at a time until it was seated good it took some time as i added lights, also you want to get the holes cut, make sure everything fits well, then i would paint the vents and then next day install them. overall i very happy with the outcome.  pictures on 2nd post Last edited by overhaulengines; 10-04-2014 at 04:04 PM. |

Does look great -- but still think the price is steep considering what I got the Hex Vents for -- painted.
May have to build these myself -- did fiberglass work for 8 years so -- who knows! |

Lupe, what type of adhesive do you use for that? Almost looks like JB Weld ;o)

thanks! I used flox with my layups so I figured it was some 2 part epoxy system. you guys do really nice work! I think I'll see if I can create molds and see how that goes.
Do you keep the templates? How big are the openings you cut out (if you're allowed to divulge that info)? -Don |

what happens when your LED's go out? I don't see any option on how to replace them. Also, besides looks, Does this do anything? I know on the C7 they are functional.

As long as you put these things on for purely aesthetic purposes then I guess go for it - but I'm not a big fan of taking chunks out of panels for aesthetics unless it's bumping up performance of some kind. some are into horsepower, some are not. some are into looks and some are not. some are on a budget some are not. do as you please, i have a little of both
since i have the tires i want, the cam i want, the suspension i want, and all the cosmetics i want.....not really i want more lupe |
