Mishimoto Camaro Engine Oil Cooler 2016-2018 Camaro SS

Hey guys, I bought a Mishimoto Camaro Engine Oil Cooler for my Camaro SS.
After discussing with my dealer to install it before I bought it they said it would be fine and no warranty would be voided. Now after I bought it and wanted them to install it they claim "it might." If I knew this, I wouldn't have bought the extended warranty.
So I have a Mishimoto Engine Cooler kit for sale for the 2016-2018 Camaro SS.
Everything is here, parts are still in factory shrink wrap and all. Images uploaded to this thread.

Here's the link to the original product

Here is where I am selling it OBO

Unfortunately every dealer is different. Some will be sticklers on aftermarket parts and make a big stink about anything you install. Others are very mod friendly and some will gladly install your aftermarket parts and still pass any warranty repairs through to GM. My dealer installed my CAGS bypass harness the day I picked it up for free as part of the PDI. I know others on this forum have said their dealer says it's an emission thing and would void the warranty.

It's all really about who you deal with I guess. You could ask around, maybe call a couple different dealers to see what they say about installing an oil cooler.

Put it in the parts for sale forum.

The SS does not need an oil cooler as it was designed with plenty of cooling already. You would have to do some REAL track days in 90 plus temps to use it properly.

Even then, it's fine. I track my SS in Florida summers and oil temps are perfectly fine. (mine is a 1LE but both have the stock coolers)

Yes, all the 6th gens do... It uses a sandwich plate and runs engine coolant through the oil filter adapter housing.

Can confirm. Ran 4 20-min sessions in New Orleans on a 90*, 93% humidity day (125* heat index). Never once got high oil/coolant/rearend/etc. temps.
