My SS earned a compliment from a Vette owner today!
Not that this is Earth shattering news but it did catch me off guard. You could feel this Corvette pull up next to you it was rumbling so much, probably the strongest sounding Vette I've ever encountered and it was a far from stock C6 that was all waxed and shiny.
I was surprised when he hollered over the idle of our cars to tell me he loves my SS so I requested he power his way on at the green light so I can admire the sonic boom of his ride. He obliged and I was deeply moved.  Our brief encounter was so much cooler than a wave. Sorry folks but I had to share. That guy was so cool I was punchy on the throttle all the way home.

Definitely the ultimate compliment. I had a few fellas do the same, hanged thumbs up out to me and honked as they were making a turn.

Vette owners are a different breed....cause the age is so broad. I get lots of waves, etc from the young and old. Its the middle age bunch who seem to have the snobby attitude.

Girl was riding with me along the beach this weekend and i was just driving she looked at me and was like 2 random people just have you a thumbs up lol. She was like do you think that's wierd. I was like no it's normal

Had a C6 convt follow me as we pulled up to a stop light and he pulled in the left turn lane and I noticed as he followed me his right side running light was out, I had my window down so I said to him "hey your right side running light is out" he never looked at me but said "Oh really", no thanks buddy nothing he kept his eyes straight ahead got the arrow and turned left. I thought that that was alittle snooty of him I was just trying to help so I just figured that his name had to be Dick .... and he couldnt help it being one because of his name.

My best friend with his 427 Vette really likes my SS. And what's not to like about a 427 convertible Vette. No comparison performance wise.
