Sorry this turned into a marathon project but I ran out of time. I did finally get the correct Airbag after some confusion ( I was waiting for the new one while they were waiting for Me to ship the old one back) I tried it and it does indeed fit on the steering wheel.
I am scheduled for a total Knee Replacement on Monday so it will be a while before I can reinstall this. I'll have about 3 months off to recover so I'll be on as soon as I'm feeling better.
Just my luck, I'll have this great new heated wheel by May or June.

Glad the new bag fit and good luck with your surgery. If you can I would really like to see a pic of the fuse you tapped for the heating power source and the finished product!

Don't push the new knee and don't skip out on any of your PT. It sucks but you'll pay for it down the road if you don't stay on top of it! 4 of my training clients have had full/partial knee replacements, listen to the docs and you'll be good as new in no time.

Good luck with the new knee. I will be waiting patiently while you recover to hear how the new wheel works.

Clock Spring 23465301 take your time easy swap
Connector for the heated part 60296271 I got this from ebay around 15 bucks.

Add a fuse from advanced. I think I put a 7 in it.

Air bag I won't post until I get the correct one lol. I thought I had the right number so when it comes back We will see. Curious they did not charge Me restocking or anything so maybe it was their fault? Time will tell.
Now that you got the right airbag, can you tell the secret for the part number on that airbag?

Sorry I haven't updated this in a while. I am still recovering from the knee surgery. The surgery itself went well. The therapy is painful and slow. I am still struggling getting my range of motion back. I am currently at 102 degrees and they want me between 120-130.
I have not been driving or doing much for that mater. Can you say boring...

Anyway the part number for the correct airbag is 23324164

That's the million dollar question. Once there is confirmation that all these parts have been installed and working without issue, I'm ordering parts. I'm also curious what the extra button functions do that the 6th has that the 5th gen doesn't.
