San Diego Xpel/Tint/Alarm etc. installer recomendations - Camaro5 Chevy Camaro Forum / Camaro ZL1, SS and V6 Forums

I should be receiving my new 2014 1LE in a few weeks and want to get a few upgrades done right away. I searched but couldn’t find if anyone has already asked this here, so does anyone know of some good shops they could recommend in the San Diego area to perform any of the following:

Xpel Ultimate clear bra and window tint
Opticoat 2.0
Car Alarm

I would obviously like quality work but without breaking the bank. I already spoke to San Diego Tint over the phone about a week ago and the quote for the Xpel Ultimate clear bra on part of the car was a good bit higher than I expected. (around $3k) So if anyone has had any of these services performed on their car and was happy with the price/quality I would greatly appreciate your recommendations. Thanks.

For tint I would go to HotSpot in Chula Vista. It's on Broadway. Pretty much have to go there the guy never answers his phone. The rest of your mods I am unsure. Good luck!!

yea there are are plenty off great tint shops around here i go to Mr.tint they do a great job and everything is warrantied and i looked into a clear bra as well and all places quoted me around 2 to 3 thousand well with that said i could replace the bumper or repaint it if necessary and still save a ton. Good luck on your endeavors and congrats on the new ride

Lots of good tint places. I'd recommend doing some research on clear bras. I was going to get one until an installer actually talked me out if it.

Really what was their reasoning? I was planning on Xpel and have heard nothing but good about it.

I have had the tint done on a few cars at San Diego Tint .com at the location on University and have nothing but positive things to Say about them.
