Well I cut them off no problem but I will not be able to install them until I get the new wheels and tires. Should be no problem now.

Just buy some Hawk pads with no skates. It's a Camaro not the Space Shuttle.

I really appreciate all the help and smart a$$ comments (not). Sometimes I wonder why people even ask for help? Not everyone is a master know it all.

Go to the dealership and buy a replacement set without the roller skates. That's the easiest and cleanest method. About $45.

I know this is an old thread but I am having the same issue with my MRR228. While the aftermarket pads do clear the stem valves, there is only approximately between 0.050” - 0.100” of clearance between the valves and the rollers. The shop where I got the work done assured me that this will not cause any issue since the rollers and stem valves will not move and should be fixed. But with very little clearance, I am not very comfortable driving my car. In the case the cap loosens, an interference could occur. With that, I want to remove the rollers. My thoughts were to just drill off the rivet that is supporting/affixing the rollers to the backing of the pads. Could it be done this way? I shouldn’t have to remove anything and can do this while it’s in the car. Hopefully it drills the rivet and the rollers can come off easily. Any thoughts on this process?
