I had the same problem. I went with the 2011. I also liked the HUD.

Check out this video Tribone took at the first annual Camaro5Fest. It appears smaller in the video than it is on the car, but there's also a list in the post describing the information it can display.

After spending about 30 seconds on http://www.chevrolet.com/vehicles/20...ro/overview.do I found this about the HUD:
Quote:
The latest technology inside Camaro keeps you informed and entertained. New for 2011 is the Head-Up Display (HUD), standard on 2LT and 2SS. The HUD displays your speed, rpm and more - even your radio station - on the windshield. You can customize the display height and intensity. Best of all, with OnStar® Turn-by-Turn Navigation(8) standard for the first six months, your directions also appear on the HUD.

Unhappy Inferno SH

I just ordered the 2011 Camaro Convertible but was not able to order the color GREEN??? I went ahead and ordered Inferno Orange because it was my second choice.
I was very dissapointed when the salesperson said Green was not an available color for the convertible......Does anyone know WHY :(

I know it was limited availability on the coupe...it's possible they just never offered the color on convertibles (maybe knowing they'd be loosing it, soon?) I don't know for sure, these are guesses.

Nice format, and informative...but there is no such thing as an "RS Camaro". It's an RS appearance package most Camaros can be equipped with...

Originally Synergy Green was never intended to go this far into
production. If you remember, it was a short, limited production
color last year that was carried forward this year. So, the color
was never a part of the palette for the convertible and thus no
validation of the model in that color.

Hope that helps.
Becky

A number of us installed the HUD in our 2010's, check out this link for more info.......

Scotty...I disagree there on the hud...I have a vette and it takes the 3lt to get the hud so in that respect it is an upgrade...one thing is for sure..I love mine and would not purchase any Vette that did not have it...
