Finally Happy with my Exhaust Note!
When I first bought the car, the 1st thing I did was delete the mufflers, add a x-pipe, and remove the resonator... instant satisfaction
then I decided to add headers, I thought that Longtube headers, no cats and that setup would be RIDICULOUSLY loud, so when I bought my offroad longtube header setup I also went ahead and got the Doug Thorley catback, which also had a x-pipe and no resonator but some very tame mufflers... in fact, i'd almost say my mufflerless setup was as loud as the longtube setup with those mufflers... but I wanted it to be a little louder, I liked there was no drone and all... but when I think of a V8 with headers, it just didn't seem loud enough so I did some research and actually bought some Dynomax Bullets, but I then learned i'd have been money ahead to just mufflerless because it would have been ridiculously loud so I actually sold those before I even put them on the car... and Monday I ordered a set of Maganflow Round Style Mufflers (part #10416) and had them put on Tuesday... I am FINALLY completely satisfied with my setup and everyone who has heard it, has raved about it..
