Suggestions to help sell my Camaro

Unfortunately the time has come to sell the Camaro. The garage will definitely be a different place without the beautiful victory red car. I'm sure that someday I will have another, but at this point in time I need to sell and I hope some people out there could give me some input and ideas. Any help is appreciated!

eBay, Carsoup, Craigslist, as many venues as possible. Be realistic on price but give a little room for negotiation. Take as many quality pics as possible, and make sure everything is in working order for a perfect test drive, and everything is cosmetically in mint condition. Good luck, shouldnt be too hard. Make sure to make your listing/car stand out from the others.

Thanks for such a quick response! It's currently on cars.com, autotrader.com and ebay classifieds. The car is a 2010 2LT RS with 26,878 miles in great condition. Rims have no cosmetic issues what so ever and the tires have a lot of tread life, at least 80-90%. Bottom line, I've really taken care of the car well. Is $23,500 a reasonable starting price?

As far as price goes, kbb is nice, but it isnt realistic. If a person is looking at your car they dont need it, as there are plenty of others, but you need to sell it. So dont let, $100, $500, or $1000 drive that person away, but at the same time dont give the car away. It is a tricky situation as you dont want to be set on a price but you dont want to be too giving and they steal it. Compare it to other models, year with similar mileage online, and somehow make yours stand out.

Also take advantage of summer coming as well. That is when people will be buying. No pressure but you will want to definitely get rid of this before winter.

Make your listing look professional as well. I would say take around 30+ pics of exterior and interior. Explain the history of the car, and dont be afraid to mention if anything has been replaced, damged, etc. Keep the listing simple and to the point as well, dont make people read a book.

I would say for a private sale, that is a good price. I just paid ~$22,000 for my 2012 2LT (non-RS) from a dealer, and it had just under 26,000 miles on it.

Add in your RS package, maybe subtract a bit for the fact that it's 2 years older and the 3 year bumper to bumper warranty is almost (or has) run out...I'd say you're in the ballpark.

Yeah I'd like to get it moved before the end of April if it's possible. I feel like I have many good photos that really show the car off. Actually if I attached a link to the ad would you mind giving me your opinion?

Thanks for the input 911medic. I think my bottom dollar would be in the 22,900-23,000 range. I feel like it is definitely worth that.

First, I think your ad looks fine.
BUT, your comment about wanting it gone by the end of April is not in line with your price.

IMHO - if you want to move the car you need to be lower than the competition. You are smack dab in the middle of pricing.

Priced too high IMO, $19,000 is more realistic.
You are competing against new car prices when selling used cars.

Except you're comparing a new 1LS price to a used 2LT/RS. Show me a new 2LT/RS that's that cheap.

Apples/oranges.

He may have to drop his price, depending on the market in his area and what used 2LT/RS's are selling for, but starting where he's at is probably fine.
