Drop and Roll - Will this work?

I have a 2011 1LT V6 and am planning to install Hotchkis springs to drop it 1" and then increase the size of the tires to 255/55-18 on the stock 18x7.5 wheels. The only other suspension mod is I'm waiting for my 25mm rear sway bar to arrive and I'll be installing that as well. I'm thinking this should work ok and still provide a pleasant ride having a little more sidewall height. Appreciate your thoughts, based upon your experience, on the springs or tires or both? As far as tires...any recommendations? Thanks
