No problem. Don’t know where you’re at, I’m just jealous you’re working on your car. My cars are packed away, covered up for the last month. Snowing out all day today.

If memory serves me right, supposed to tuck under your weather stripping. In fact, DONT close your hood until it’s tucked under. You’ll damage something for sure. On a side note, and I know everyone has what they prefer, but I went with z28 intake for that exact reason, perfect fit and finish using all factory bolts. That will fit, but you need to adjust it down somehow

Just remembered, there is a rubber bushing on the bottom you're supposed to pop into the framerail (or somewhere similar). Did you pop that in? Maybe that's why it's sitting high

Interesting differences in the build years
My ‘12 didn’t have that clip.

I tried that it didnt help but i was able to stick it under the stripping after i took it off and placed back in. The lid closes BUT this part of the weather stripping wont go back in.

I’m shit out of memory brother. I remember hating to take my lid off because it was a pain to line the screws back up, but the stripping all sat in place properly. Other than that rubber locator, I can’t remember anything else getting in the way on the bottom side.

No problem, I know it will fit, just a matter of playing around with it. Good luck
