Short answers are; yes...usually within days of a media announcement.

The problem is - not all dealerships are pro-active in training their people. And others (like a local one, here) try to have "specialists", but that doesn't work very well when a non-specialist salesperson gets a customer who's interested in those "special" vehicles...

I talked to 2 dealers this week about the HW edition and neither have received allocations yet. One told me I had seen the same things he has...and that was the General Manager. Just told them to let me know when they received allocations, then I would make up my mind.

It says right the Chevy website "available for order 10/29". http://www.chevrolet.com/chevy-cultu...l-edition.html

I wonder if they really need an "allocation" to order it. My dealer didn't seem to have any trouble ordering mine.

Keep us informed. Are you thinking of trading your current Camaro or adding to the stable?

I will.
I'll either trade it in (if they offer a good price), or I'll sell it privately.

That was more of a rhetorical question I was posing. I guess I should have asked if dealers provide any kind of training though as I'm sure Chevrolet provides them with everything they'll need. lol...yeah, the specialist isn't too helpful if it's their day off or "on lunch."

This color car looks amazing. I am equally as frustrated as everyone else to the lack of a good blue. I love my ABM. I have said numerous times that I would have already upgraded to a ZL1 if there was a color like this available. I just dont know why GM can't or won't offer this color. Even as an upgrade color option, i would be willing to pay some extra.

I think the reason the ABM didn't sell well was because the online and even the brochure renderings were hideous. So no one trusted it. Once I saw it in person though, it had to be mine.

If this was available, I would order my ZL1 tomorrow. Listen to us GM.

Yeah, my dealer should be letting me know as well. I just figured that more info would come out by now.
