There's a lot of hate in that comment section. I'm not a fan of the 2019+ refresh in any way outside of the hood. There's constant reference to the proper nature of a muscle car, to which the Camaro never was. In the end, more and more, there seems to be an affront to what consumers who are passing enthusiasts think the Camaro should be.

I hope that GM continues down this path but, I have always wished that they offered a bit more power from the factory for each 1LE iteration--the same goes for the Grand Sport.

For what they're after the V6 1LE is the better car. More power, better noise, and don't have to worry about the likelihood of overheating that turbo 4 on track. The price point is right on point at $30k, but I think they're trying to appeal to the guy looking at Ecoboost Mustang, BRZ, FRS, 370z or even a Miata. It's a decent package, but don't see any reason to buy this over the V6 unless you are looking to throq a tune on the car and it'd probably make decent power.

This and the V6 1LE are going to be great on the used market in a few years!

Yeah that looked horrible, not a good sign considering they publicized it being upgraded for 2019.

I thought it looked pretty good in orange and without the ugly SS front bumper. Wouldn't want a 4-banger though...

I think it's great. They hit the nail on the head with the review. It's great for the person that wants an entry level Camaro that they can take to the track without breaking the bank. No serious racer is ever going to buy this as an all out track car but for someone that wants a stylish daily driver that they can do an occasional track day in with no mods, this fits the bill.

The V6 is almost $1500 and for some folks, that's the difference between being able to afford something and not. While it's not for all of us, it's at least an option for those that can't afford the V6 or V8 1LE.

Would make one hell of a commuter car. SS handling in a light, efficient package.

If I had a long drive to work I'd rock one of these way before a four door econobox. It would take some of the boring out of the daily grind.

It may not even be about the extra $1500, but more to do with the potential of the turbo motor. It's a lot easier to mod a turbo engine to make more power than it is to mod an NA motor, and that's a large part of the potential appeal of the turbo.
