problem with Rotrex Customer Service

Good morning,
is here maybe representative or fair distributor of Kraftwerk prochargers -Rotrex central unit?
I really really need help as has no strenght to wait for any reply on my warrantly claim.
Via this forum I bought complete setup for gen 5. System montaged by tuner + program and extra items done by Janetty Racing.
After the montage reported to Kraftwerk problem with central unit - it was not working well and after short period stopped.
Case reported on February - confirmed warranty period is valid and we received info to send item back to dealer, than a little story with the central unit sending between Europe and USA, but on begining of May the unit was confirmed delivered at dealer with the feedback info 10/ 12 weeks needed for unit check and than decision if the defect of unit or something else.
Now is more than 16 weeks passed when unit under checking by dealer & producer -but still no info received.
My tuner asked many many times about the reply - as the car is stopped since February - but still no info received.
(car has a lot of other modification, including bigger injecions, ZL1 pump, FPCM, etc... - so not possible to put back base program and drive as too much items will has to be unmontaged back for stock.....
Can anyone help please?

What vendor did you buy the kit from? They haven’t been able to help you? This is the direct number to the Kraftwerks office 951.808.9888

If you have Facebook, they have a group from 5th gen owners with their kit. Search Kraftwerks Supercharger 5th Gen Camaro. I know there’s a couple of company reps in the group, maybe they can help you out.

Seems here...even Rotrex claim their units cannot be repaired. Sounds like a bad job all round, as you'd think some parts could be !

Keep it simple...buy a more common brand, Vortech, Paxton, Procharger.

not that this helps your situation, but whoever you bought the kit from, assuming it was brand new and they were a dealer, should be taking care of it.

Hi,
Indeed the complaint had to be via shop.
Than my tuner received contact to Kraftwerk & Kraftwerk sent the unit to Rotrex. We asked Kraftwerk if can send unit directly to Kraftwerk (as they are in Europe as we) but it was denied. From Europe had to sent unit to Kraftwerk, they done the first inspection and put the case no. and sent nit from US to Europe to Rotrex..... The policy is that defective unit can not be claimed directly with producer but have to go vai dealership - where it was bought. Right now was told that in another 2 weeks and we shall have decision from Rotrex.

Mate,
It was brand new - offered with full guarantee. I am guilty that wanted to save about 500- 800 usd from procharger system and bought the not common set. But ho could predict that central unit will have defect and will not be able to enjoy the ride.... My tuner is used to superchargers and prochargers setups and claimed that he saw first time that brand new central unit is broken. It was 1st warning about the quality - now the 2nd one is almost 18 weeks unit with Kraftwerk (later sent to Rotrex) and I did not receive any feedback from them - asking almost every week for a reply on my guarantee issue pending...

Rotrex are based in Europe.

They do say to contact the dealer and not them directly. But if you are not getting anywhere with the dealer, it can do no harm to raise it directly with Rotrex themselves
