Thanks to all that joined us this weekend!

I think those of you that joined us for the first time this weekend, now understand what makes the Northeast Rod Run much different than your regular car cruise of poker run. Another thing, is that we like to have a great variety of cars in our group. The variety of cars that we always attract, also adds to the quality of the trip.

Most of us get bored seeing the same cars over and over. Hell, most of us even get bored driving the same car on each trip, so we try to change up every year.

I thought most of the C5 guys were going to follow us out of Gloucester after we left Olivia's?

Everyone was in line at the stop sign, then when a few of us got up the hill and waited but no one came. That was the highlight scenic drive of the entire trip. The part of the drive that you guys missed, was actually the whole reason we went out to Gloucester.

Kind of felt bad because all of you guys missed the great coastal driving when you took the wrong turn in downtown Newburyport and then you all left before we finished after lunch.

Oh sorry about that, I had to go because of 2 things, the weather about the rain, and I had to get home right away.
I was planning on doing that final group gathering, but thats why I left a bit of rubber on the way out ^_^
Thanks for organizing everything it was fun, and a wonderful experience, all I can say is that I will try to do my best to make the Oct run, this fling trip just made it more interesting to do.

When I hear feedback that people enjoy the trips, it makes all the work worth it

I thought the ride was over after lunch?? BTW, we got lost after every turn...lol
I would have liked seeing some of the winding roads out that way.

Here is the Tesla in the parking lot, we got a full showing of it. It was pretty cool...

The trip was great JT. Wish I coulda finished the run but time was getting short for us. Pam and I had an awesome time and your setup of the trip was very well done. Can't wait for October.

I hear that a lot about the wives and girlfriends. Most of the longer cruises a lot of our people go on, they just go with a bunch of buddies. This is one of the only runs that they take their significant others with them.

I think where we have different "points of interest" stops along the way, it makes it more tolerable for the girls, instead of just flying down a highway to get from point A to point B.

Love to see some of the pics posted to NERR's site too. Thanks!

I have to get around to doing that soon too.

here is one of the last shots of the day on Sunday. This is where we pulled over waiting for everyone after lunch, not realizing that they all turned at the last stop sign, instead of following us up the hill for a final run along the cliffs and the coast.

I think these 3 cars looked perfect together, with their complimentary colors and their body styles.

Sorry, but can't do it. We missed you on this year's Fall trip.

When combined with the planning of our usual October run, it's WAY to much effort to put both of them together. Because of that, both trips suffered immensely, so I'm back to just concentrating on just our October run.

That Spring run was a trial type of thing. I've had dozens and dozens of people asking me for years, to set something like that up. So when I finally did, not one of those people showed up and it was our worst turnout to date.

If we got the numbers to warrant it, I would have put the effort forth to do it again because it's always a great time, but I just can't justify it for the low turnout.

Just make sure you don't miss our Fall run this year. You have over 10 months to schedule the needed time off
