Oil Filter - Amsoil EA15K50, but may use PF64 in the future due to bypass valve PSI differences. I don't know the EA15K50 bypass valve PSI.

Oil - Amsoil Signature Series 5W-30.

Again there is that note that says the aftermarket part must have the same bypass setting. So they did specify parameters.

While it doesn’t list the Camaro, it lists our engines.

any full synth 5w30 and a filter that is quality made. This to me, means none of the lower tiers of fram, no ac delco, and whatever else is being sold under various brands for less than 5 bucks.

AC delco's filters are garbage and have been in every single test i've seen done on them in the last decade. I'd put them in the same category as base model fram filters.

I'd go with royal purple, amsoil's, or fram xg filters. At least from all the empirical tests done in the last decade regularly point to those as top performers both in build quality and filtration performance. Though, tests are always a good 2-3 years behind current at best it seems. Doubtful anything has changed much either way.

Just to clarify, that Valvoline oil in your picture is Dexos 1 not Dexos 2. The Dexos 1 label is green with a small 1 in the lower right hand side of the colored block. The Dexos 2 label is blue with a small 2 in the lower right hand side of the colored block.

I know you oil says Gen2 but it is still Dexos 1. It's a little confusing.

Thats Valvoline. Dexos 2 is diesel or euro spec oil.

Got this for free. Castrol 0w40 A3/B4, not Dexos approval but i might give it a try. Maybe or maybe not? Lol
I know Castrol 0w40 is good oil like M1 0w40 (not ESP)
