This along with upgrading the "Big 3" should be sufficient up to a 2000W system. There's a lot of misconceptions about batteries & capicators. Batteries are great for listening when the vehicle is not running, but are not a replacement for a proper power supply. Same with capacitors, their main function is to protect your speakers from a power surge. A capacitor cannot act like a battery, it only serves to fill in what would otherwise be very small dips in the supply voltage. I'm currently installing my system (2500W) and went with a 300A high-output alternator, Kenetik HC2400B Black series competition battery, Memphis Audio 20V 1F surge capacitor, & Kicker 1/0ga copper wire (Big 3 upgrade).
Did the kinetik battery fit? Thinking about a alternator now but down the road. How is that alternator? I didn’t realize it was that cheap I remember seeing some for 400-600

I wouldn't be so sure about the alternator in that ebay link. Higher quality manufacturers like Mechman and Excessive Amperage are much higher in cost. It can list as a 250 amp alternator, but at what RPM? This is a quote I got for Mechman, IIRC:

$549 for 275 amp
$649 for a 320 amp
$769 for a 370 amp

I wouldn't be surprised if the one on eBay put out rated at 3k RPM. I would love to see the results of a test on it.

The only reason you'd need a hi-output alternator is if your battery is getting depleted below acceptable voltage while you're driving and running your system. You can address such a voltage drop in a few different ways. You can bump the capacity of the battery to give more reserve before the voltage drops, if you crank power out of your system intermittently. Or you can bump the alternator output to keep up, if you have long periods of cranking your sound system. If you park and run the system a lot, the battery capacity would need to be larger or add a second battery.
