The only reason you'd need a hi-output alternator is if your battery is getting depleted below acceptable voltage while you're driving and running your system. You can address such a voltage drop in a few different ways. You can bump the capacity of the battery to give more reserve before the voltage drops, if you crank power out of your system intermittently. Or you can bump the alternator output to keep up, if you have long periods of cranking your sound system. If you park and run the system a lot, the battery capacity would need to be larger or add a second battery.
