Correct tire pressure

Just switched out my summer Pirellis to a set of BF Goodrich TA 245/55 R18's. I was curious what the exact tire pressure would be for these tires on my '13 RS? As of now the person whom I bought them off of had them inflated to 32psi from his '11 Camaro. Is this correct?

Wow looks like I stumped 72 people.

Here is an update to my situation. It seemed the TPS worked right after I installed the tires, but after a 15 minute drive, I received the check tire marker that was blinking, and the read out did not register the tires on the system.

Is there a way to reset this as it was working when I first installed the tires and it read 32psi for each tire?

Yes there is a youtube and I think a thread here on how to rest your tire sensors. Also door jam has proper tire pressure. My2012 says 36 is ideal tire pressure. On cold starts ( I am in florida ) starts at33 and when they heat up run 36 maybe 37 . Hope this helps and look for that video. I just watched it few days ago. Is a setting on your radio panel and you open car door let out few pounds of air till beeps then move to next tire keeps beep and lights flash when it resets that tire

Every car has this sticker on the door or door jam. It's 36PSI for the SS, no matter what tire manufacturer you have. Not sure what the V6 sticker says, but per the quoted poster, it's the same.

+1.

It seems people forget they have a MANUAL for how things work in their car. If you lost your manual, Google has most if not all of it in some form or another. A Google search for 2010 Camaro TPS reset came up with the answer in the very first result.

36 is the correct tire pressure, but remember I switched out my P Zero tires for a smaller BF goodrich tire, so the pressure should be less than 36.

Also for the TPMS system to read my new tires, I need to purchase a relearn tool to read the tires, or bring to a dealer for service. This I read from the manual.

For 2012s and up yes you need a relearn tool. But any ol' tire shop has one. No need to risk the dealer damaging your baby just to reset the tire sensors.
