I'll be following Number 3/Thor's lead and enjoying the beach. I understand wanting to keep your car clean but don't let that get in the way of living your life.

Well then Seriously ....NO.....sand cannot be stopped from contaminating your car if you go to the beach!

But please explain what is the big deal about getting some sand somewhere in the car?
Consider that your feet are going to track in crap (wheather it's sand, dirt, microscopic dust etc....), from everywhere's no matter where you go.
Dealership, Mall, grocery store, girlfriends house, gas station, your garage.....etc...
Just seems really OCD.

Exactly. What I've realized is that a lot of people on here are OCD and don't even realize the obvious things like sand getting in it anyways. Don't let your car take over your life (more than it already has lol).

And I bet most of the people that said "No" live in Idaho or something.

Alot of beaches allow you to drive your car on the beach. I take it as a legit question. You get sand all over your feet, then you hop in your car, now, sand is everywhere. Dirty.

You wipe your feet off before you get in the car.

We live a block from the beach. I go there daily. Can't drive on beaches here but.....yes.....sand gets in the carpet.
Heck, I take my dog everywhere I go. He'll be in my new 2SS with me all the time! So, to each his own. Life's too short in my book.
Below is an extreme example of oCD and I liked the movie!

and please.....to each his own.......I'm just funnin with you.....do not ever take anything I post as a personal assault.

Try driving at idle speed when on the sand, if not that then even slower - that will save your undercarriage. Then, when getting in the car, just wipe your feet off as hard as you can. Little preventive measures like that go along way and enable you to life your life while keeping your car in check.
