Hey All,

I would like to invite everyone to the Camaro Meet this Saturday, March 27th in Columbus, GA. 1 - 4pm. Here's the link to the thread here on the forum http://www.camaro5.com/forums/showthread.php?t=71808

Over 50 invitations went out to the Camaro owners that bought from Legacy Chevrolet in Columbus, and I've been spreading flyers all over town. I also went to the "Columbus Cruisers" meet tonight and passed out flyers to all the old guys with their vintage Camaro's, cars and trucks and invited them too. One of the guys said that Steak and Shake is having a Cruise-In at 5pm Saturday evening and I was thinking we could all cruise over there after we are done with our meet. Plus the weather is going to be beautiful!!!

So if you are interested, post up on the thread that you are coming. Hope to see you there!!!

a bunch of us are talking about meeting up this coming sat for a cruise in that is taking place downtown Athens around town square and the court house. Last month they had a lot of cars and people. After wards we are thinking about heading to Allens in Madison to grab something to eat, have a few drinks and just hang out. You up for a lil meet and great? Also it will give us a chance to put something together for us that are heading to camaro fest?

This cruise in is usually a good one! It starts at 2:00 & the parking spots go fast! Last month I saw four or five 5th gen camaros there. I have the black lowered SS RS that's a bit louder than it should be......See ya there!

Just to give a heads up for the departure plans. Looks like initial meeting spot to leave out of the Huntsville/Madison area will be Cracker Barrel in Madison. Looking to leave out by 5:00 - 5:15. Sorry to be so early but need to meet with the group in Birmingham by 7:00. Would like a few min there for a short meet and great. This will allow us time to have a chance to stop at Talladege for a photo shoot. We also need to be at Summit South of Atlanta about 11:00, lets not forget the time change we will go through. We will need to be filled up before we leave Madison and may stop agian prior to pulling into Birmingham for a top off. We are looking at a stop in Anniston for a facility break so it will be short and sweet. Can I please get a confirmation from everyone meeting up at Cracker Barrel so we know we will not be waiting around? If you have wackie talkies it would be a good idea to bring them. We can meet up early and do breakfast somewhere maybe Affel House? Would like to hear from everyone to get their input. Police are going to be aware of all the action going on in the south east so they will be out. I do not want a ticket so I will not be speeding, much . So plan on a nice relaxing cruise, damn I cant wait.

Hi, Sal from Enterprise. I'd love to attend Camarofest this weekend, but we already have a bunch of stuff planned.

Drive out to fest was awesome, met some great people today. Took some great group photos at Talladega. Had the most incredible thing happen today during the group cruise. Me and another SS Camaro got a police escort back to the main group after getting seperated and topped speeds of over 130 mph for several miles. I have always seen cop cars chasing cars but never seen a cop car get chased by two camaros. Thank you officer who ever you were for a memory of a life time. That alone made the trip worth it.

Today was even better then yesterday scored one of the best ET on the autocross course. Beating out SS's and most specialty prepared Camaros. Guys in the timing booth could not believe I was running a stock LT1 with street tires. Alot to be said for the V6. Got my car signed by Scott from GM who heads up the Camaro program and the pics I got of girls with my car is to die for.
